The Writers' Image

Photography and Literature, Alternatives and Changes
In the past decade the relationship between photography and literature can be seen as two processes parallel to and also reflecting on each other at the same time. We can witness the artistic emancipation of photography as described by the English expression of ‘Visual Turn’. The expression refers to the complex interplay between the image and the word drawing our attention to the inseparable study of the two traditions.  »

 

Stage Reading

In the course of the museology work we were struck by the thought that the correspondence, diaries and biographic documents of Hungarian writers considered classic or significant should be adapted and performed in a dramatic form.  »

 

Activities for Children

Our Rhyme Pairs series helps children explore the world of Hungarian poetry with the help of music. Our highly successful programmes include Let’s Make a Presentation, Tall Talk Competition, Musicat Club and the Red, White and Green activities, which introduce school children to literature with the help of associated arts (dance, craft and music).  »
